A student of Osun State University ; Abogunrin Simeon Muyiwa was awarded six hundred and thirty thousand naira scholarship by the Great People Foundation in April 2023.

Simeon was reported to be depressed and suicidal by his school authorities because of the severe financial challenges at home and the fear of losing his studentship. GPF intervened and made a fund raising for the student.
